Joni Lee Rossi is founder and president of Back Bay Staffing Group ®. Joni Lee oversees the day to day operations of the company which specializes in the recruitment and placement of both direct hire and temporary staff including attorneys, paralegals, compliance professionals, administrative staff and hospitality staff in both public and private sectors.  Joni Lee finds recruitment solutions specializing in attorney and paralegal and compliance staffing for the finest law firms and financial services companies in the world. Joni Lee is considered a thought leader in her industry as seen by her many publications and features. Joni Lee is a former job developer for CETA (Comprehensive Employment Training Act) and decided early on that in order to make a difference, you must care about people. Joni Lee certified her company as a Woman Business Enterprise and served under three governors on the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity board teaching best practices to win government contracts both state and federal. She continues to assist minorities and women find jobs and succeed at reaching their goals. Joni Lee also supports a number of causes that help children and young people including The Home For Little Wanderers and The Girl Scouts nationwide.

In September 2020, Joni Lee Rossi participated in a panel titled “How to Be a Successful Leader and Catalyst of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.” She was excited to share her thoughts on diversity hiring practices and creating a culture of change in the workplace. She also discussed the role of the Chief Diversity Officer and why the role has become such a crucial position for financial institutions. The panel also discussed reviewing internal recruitment and retention and their impacts on diversity recruitment. They also covered how CEOs and board leadership at financial institutions look to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion achievements as measurable outcomes.
