In September 2020, Joni Lee Rossi participated in a panel titled “How to Be a Successful Leader and Catalyst of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.” She was excited to share her thoughts on diversity hiring practices and creating a culture of change in the workplace. She also discussed the role of the Chief Diversity Officer and why the role has become such a crucial position for financial institutions. The panel also discussed reviewing internal recruitment and retention and their impacts on diversity recruitment. They also covered how CEOs and board leadership at financial institutions look to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion achievements as measurable outcomes.

Boston, MA – Over three hundred guests gathered together for the Ellie Fund 19th Annual Red Carpet Gala on Sunday, February 22 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. Guests dressed up in their finest to watch The 87th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony on a giant screen. The event raised funds for the Ellie Fund’s mission to help end breast cancer and support services for families dealing with the disease.

Honored guest, WCVB’s President Bill Fine joined many of his team including, weather man Harvey Leonard, J.C. Monahan, Mary Saladna, Jim Lokay , Kelley Tuthill and Phil Lipof. This year the Boston Latino International Film Festival included 6 days of films, receptions and special events. More than 50 films were screened from the United States, Peru, Spain, Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Mexico among others. The films showcased a variety of diverse topics including food, music, dance, the environment, and politics.
